In the words of my Boot Camp inststructor...

DONE ALL DONE!!!

Well, Sort of. We turned in our final project and finished the MISERABLE summer class last night. I've been sort of MIA when it comes to blogging because I was just so stressed out from this class. I'm the type of person that when I take a class, I can usually pick up on what's going on fairly fast, even if I've never been introduced to that subject before. NOT THE CASE with this Marketing Research Methodology class. It was frustrating being so lost, spending hours...make that DAYS in the library trying to understand. Anyway, it's over. While I'm praying for an A, I think it's pretty certain that I will end up with a B. ::Sigh::

I'm still studying...even though this class is over, I'm about to start working on a small independent study and I'm also studying for the GRE and trying to read some biology material so I have a good understanding of what is going on when I start working on the Pre-Requisites for the Master's of Medical Science in Anaesthesiology program. I went to Davis Kidd last night and bought two "fun" reads:

I went straight to Starbucks and I have to say...I eerily enjoyed thumbing through, and reading, the Oxford Dictionary of Biology. Can we say NERD? I don't care. I just hope I stay this enthusiastic about it in the semesters to come. I think it has a lot to do with my interest in health and the human body that I've acquired over the past 3 or 4 years. It's kind of cool knowing what's in your body and how it works.

On a totally different note, Doc J is out of town this weekend. His cousin is getting married in NYC. It's a short trip and I couldn't justify going out there with him so I will be here, reading my new books and soaking up some rays at the pool. A friend of mine is having a little get together on his rooftop tonight and I plan on hanging out there and celebrating being done with that awful class.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Hurray for Summer Class being over!

As far as the 5k race... I'll e-mail my work address to you and if you want to send me your $20 registration fee (it includes the t-shirt), I'll make sure he gets credit. Once I get the shirt, I'll mail it to you. Unless you have a metter method in mind!? As far as I know (according to my Aunt), there's not a way for him to get credit if you sign up online.

Thanks for the support. Be sure to watch his Elvis Impersonation that morning! :)
